i just embedded one of my videos in my blogspot blog and while the flash video works on the video's archive page, nothing seems to happen on blogger - i only see the player's buttons but nothing else. hitting play does not seem to do anything. what could be the problem...? did you already see this page?
(you can get to it from hitting the (?) icon when playing your flash movie on the archive site)

i'm thinking that maybe the problem is a bunch of
"<br>" tags in between the <param ..> tags?

um, yah, and i think you have bad chars in the section
right after:
param name="flashvars" value="config={

i have one more question:

i still have autoplay for the embedded video (so i guess this was turned on again), but i can't turn it off:

i tried to turn it off as described with "autoplay:false" after "config={" (right after "loop:false,"), but this does not do anything. i also tried "autoplay: false" and "autoplay:false" without a "," after it, but having no "," in the code just breaks the player.

any idea why...?

many thanks - now it works!

(you probably now already saw that the "about/flash.php" page needs to be updated since there it says "autoplay"...)

ok, i now tried again, first it did not work, but while editing the blog post once more it started working. not quite sure why...

i'm pretty sure i did not change the original code, i only added a div align="center" code (as i now did again). maybe firefox added some bad characters the first time...? (there used to be this firefox related bug with tags, you could not view "compose" after adding html code for tags but had to "preview" immediately or otherwise the code was broken...)

if i find out what first caused the problem i'll post it here.

thanks!
